Frederick Busch (1941-2006) taught writing and literature at Colgate University from 1976 to 2003, the last six years as Fairchild Professor of Literature. His books include North, A Memory of War, the 1999 National Book Critics Circle Award winner The Night Inspector, and Don't Tell Anyone, a New York Times Notable Book.
