Tim Byrnes is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Colgate. He teaches courses in US and Comparative Politics, as well as courses in religion and politics. His books include Catholic Bishops in American Politics, The Catholic Church and the Politics of Abortion (co-editor), Abortion Politics in American States (co-editor), and the soon to be published Transnational Catholicism in Postcommunist Europe.
