Georgia Frank received her Bachelors Degree at Barnard College, Columbia University and Her PhD at Harvard University. She has taught at Harvard University and College of the Holy Cross before becoming an Associate Professor of Religion at Colgate University in 1994. She has written, among other things, The Memory of the Eyes, which focusses on two important early texts--The History of the Monks in Egypt, and Palladius's The Lausiac History--situating them in their literary, historical, and spiritual contexts.
