A Message to the Class of 2013

Dear Colgate Class of 2013,

All of us at the Colgate Bookstore hope that your senior year of high school is wrapping up nicely and that you are excited for the adventure that awaits you at Colgate. By now, many of you should have received, or will be receiving soon, our 2009 summer computer catalog. We write to let you know that the Apple computers featured in that catalog belong to a now previous generation of Apple computers.

At the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference earlier this week, the company unveiled a new line of MacBook Pros. These new computers are now available for purchase on our website. However, since it is Apple’s policy not to disclose new product releases to campus stores in advance, it is the previous generation that you will see featured in our print catalog. We apologize for the confusion. The good news for those of you interested in purchasing an Apple computer is that the speed and memory of these models has increased, while their price has decreased. .
