Eugena Pilek grew up in Cooperstown, the setting for her debut novel. "The chapters in Cooperstown are arranged as innings that mirror fouls, fair balls and the occasional home run. Inspired by the people, events, myths and history that have made baseball America's best-loved sport, Cooperstown is a celebration of life".
Pilek is the book editor for Us Weekly and a regular reviewer for The Washington Post's Media Mix.
