Lady Susan is an early epistolary novel written by
Jane Austen while she was in her late teens/early
twenties, but not published until 1871, 54 years
after her death.

Told entirely in letters between the various
characters, it tells the story of the vain and selfish
widow Lady Susan Vernon who toys with the
affections of several men as she seeks husbands
for both herself and her daughter.
