Elephant & Piggie Party!

Come to a party to celebrate the newest book about Elephant and Piggie.  With help from the audience, Bookstore staff will dramatically read the friends' new adventure We Are In a Book!  Next, children will be able to put themselves in a book with a creative coloring craft. 

No party is complete without cake, so we'll have some as a snack before sending children home with an elephant-blue or piggie-pink helium balloon.   

Children of all ages are welcome, but the program is mainly geared towards ages 4-8.

About the book:
Gerald is careful.  Piggie is not.
Piggie cannot help smiling.  Gerald can.
Gerald and Piggie are best friends. 

When Piggie discovers that she and Gerald are in a book and she can make the reader say a funny word out loud, Gerald is tickled pink. But then Gerald realizes that the book is going to end soon--ack! What will happen then? Gerald just wants to be read!! As always, level-headed Piggie has an idea: she will ask the reader to start the book again.
