Why are the book order deadlines so early?

We want to work with you to make sure that the books you need are here when those students arrive. Requisitioning your books now will give us time to fulfill the order or work with you to develop solutions in the event that one or more of your selected readings is unavailable from our extensive network of wholesalers, distributors, and publishers.

Adopting early also gives us time to develop a comprehensive list of titles that can be purchased directly from Colgate students during the textbook buyback. A strong buyback list will return more money to those students.
